Ever hear of Michael Clifford? If a man like that could make tens (or hundreds) of millions in the education business, then a group of teachers in solidarity might be able to pull something off. Yes, it would require imagination and lots of work, but NYC has lots of progressive people who could figure this out.
Good luck getting that thru accreditation or landlord approval for sub lease / lease assignment... What planet are you living on CK?
