BMC

Pretty quiet and normal around there. Seems like Ai was the only hit dramatically until July.

I'm curious about South and Argosy. Haven't heard much about them considering they're EDMC also. I do think BMC is going to get a swift kick very soon. You just can't enroll people who don't have the "skills" to be in college. It's great that people have the opportunity but opportunity should be balanced with an acceptable level of discretion as to who will likely be successful with that opportunity. Instead, we have open enrollment for anyone (ANYONE) who will say yes then push it to academics to keep them in until all the fed dollars and cash payments are exhausted. Oh, if they do get to the end then make it a career services problem to try and find gainful employment for those BMC would never hire themselves (don't quote some less than 1/2 of n1% data about former students being hired...we all know they are few and far between). Any "school" that falsifies academic records...wait - what? Yes; don't you have nursing students that haven't met all their academic requirements (do sticks come to mind)? Anyway, any school that falsifies can't be that credible can they. But make sure you get those nursing grads jobs as nurses even though they can't take the NCLEX. I'm certain JR has some great advice though. Or not.

So they asked all campus directors for their advice on how to cut 20 mil? Sounds odd since the company is run by so many geniuses. The more likely answer is they gave marching orders as to how to handle the upcoming changes. Doubt if jr, gh, df or sc have any interest in what anyone "below" them has to say. To much arrogance to take advice. If thy wanted advice they should have asked sooner how to SAVE the schools.

Something will happen. They wouldn't have the campus directors in cinci if not. They don't have the money for conferences so they wouldn't spend unless there was a big deal. Nobody will say anything though. Too many campuses ave severely diminished numbers. Akron enrolled 12, canton is reeling, Atlanta struggling, and the Indiana schools aren't increasing. June or July...it's just a waiting game now.
