I love using the ancient CDE desktop at CSW.
Like our products, why change and encorporate latest technologies when you've got a good thing going.

pretty funny. That will probably be the next step in the regime that presides. I am amazed that these gurus haven't relaized that they have lost their workforce - or seem to care about it at all. It really doesn't make much sense to go above and beyond when the carrot isn't dangling any longer. Look at the stupid crap this ivers guy(and the rest of the new york sun baked crew) have implemented - insurance sucks, no overtime unless you bill uncle same, no stock plan, cafeteria outsourced, bulletin board (wtf???) gone, semi normal posting of some "hear andys message" internal webcast that you are supposed to be hypnotized by. What a narcissistic sycophant - midget mike probably suggested some thing and his goateed pea brain interpreted it different.
btw, IT doesnt manage clearcase, your engineering genius crew looms over that like a 3 legged dog protecting a stale chicken bone, probably because the software hosted on it is outdated and your backwoods utard engineering would break if it was migrated. And, in case you have a retort, IT is now managed by engineering dudes in case you haven't checked.
Why does CSW use so much gdam Solaris 8 and 9 for clearcase that have never been patched? And NIS!?, did some forget to buy IT a few calendars so they new what year it was?
Theres got to be something better I would think.
