Better quality of product would have helped (a Lot). But improved quality is tough to do when so much money and energy goes to CYA management activities to prolong their professional life.
@103206, is that alimony you have to pay, or is it alimony you expect to receive from some poor schlub at CS-West?
PLEASE NO LAY-OFFS...my alimony depends on CSWest staying afloat! Selfish i know. and my stocks...i need that money!
I noticed a lot of activity in Building F and C conference rooms today. Seemed strange.
To bad it is not true.
democrats, classic...spoken like a true utahn
obama is pretty trigger happy too, maybe it is the fact that machines rather than bodies are doing most of the killing - they don't spend a whole bunch of money on technology to have some 98 IQ doofus from Kentucky scatter spray a camel pasture...killing can be efficient also. Which also makes me wonder how some dude changing oil in a hummer can come back with ptsd, it's not like these guys are slaying vietnamese in a rice paddy.
The president is just a guy that casts a shadow, hiding those truly in power - there is never a sovereign king in that big white house, just a rube that marionettes his way through his 8 years.
Ignore the distractions and listen to the message...or just keep bangin away on your celly phone, watching the kardashians, believe what they tell you at 6pm and 10pm on the news and work 8 hours of your 10 hour day, because nobody notices anyways.
There are many Defense company's suffering with a Democrat in the White House.... When will people learn.
Yes. It's a sad place to work right now. I think the rumors at CSW have more legitimacy than the idiots in the offices are willing to admit.
Similar mood at CSE. No rumors of impending layoffs but people are aware of the near complete lack of actual new business and can draw their own conclusions. Many hope for another voluntary package, but the only package will be a box to put your stuff in (don't try to take the stapler). Others hope that their association with Rory the Friendly Rhino will save them.
I think at least half of the people are hoping they take a bullet and the other half are worried about it. What a comfortable, transparent environment to work in. I can't be the only person that doesn't believe anything I read or anyone I talk to. At least the memos from the executives keep coming out, highlighting the new high paid people being brought in.
