sap is successful in a whole lot of places, it isn't 10 times the size of L3 for no reason. But it rarely is successful in environments that have an aged work force that think the old way is better, coupled with a management staff that is reactive. Whenever these top level guys commit to the original plan, support their $150M+++ investment and adapt our "awesome" practices to those (completely configurable) being handled within the system, that is when it will improve. The system doesn't sell stuff, the company does and right now there isn't a whole lot of selling going on. CSW has a long history of adapting the system to output what is expected by those behind the monitor - sap says what it says and people don't like that.
