Steinhaffel's Stock Price Goal $100 by 2017? At $85, It's In the cross-hairs !!

Who gets the last laugh? We all applauded when Gregg beat the proxy fight and then set the goal for $100 by 2017. All the team members were on-board as if they could 'just sit back and collect'. Complacency lead to a failure. I applaud the new leadership for making the hard decisions and move this company forward. While I did not stick around and suffer the stress as many of you have, my 401K sure appreciates the growth... as will I when I retire. Transforming a company from "Living solely off its Brand" to one that "Builds a Brand" is leadership at it's finest ! Thank You Brian for treading a new course and vision !!

Ok, you just convinced me to never trust an analyst's opinion, pure fluff and no concrete facts.

Give me some figures on higher stock price targets, not just that you like BC and cost cutting. Lots of companies that are no longer around have done that.

Also, as a shareholder While sales are a significant factor in profitability, costs/expenses are equally important to "Earnings Per Share". We, investors, are focused on what we can "EARN" per "SHARE" we own. To put it in your terms, If a computer can do your job cheaper and faster, then as a shareholder, I will recommend that the company buy a computer.

@ 109850: TGT is comp'ing against the post breach sales and is enjoying it. The breach occurred Nov 2013.... and EPS expectations are on the rise as a result of recent moves with CVS, closing of Canada, restructuring of HQ, etc. The market likes the vision... so, I don't see your logic. Try again.

$50 BY 2016, once investors see that current results are against comps post breach. Those signature categories have a lot of competition and Target ain't going to win them.

You can't possibly have enough target stock to change your life unless you were in some leadership position. In which case you were part of the problem. Pity the company you moved on to.
