I'll never understand why Weatherford does what it does Example = West Hardy Road Lwd Mfg, Right next Door Advantage R&D which is suppose to be part of Weatherford both have Electronic Technicians. Now they Layoff Electronic Technicians on the Mfg side but there's an ad on Indeed.com today 7-22-2015 looking for Electronic Technicians for the same Locations. Doesn't make sense - you would think they would use the people they already have who don't have much work & know the processes to fill in - instead of posting & hiring New personel @ this Time - Maybe they hire them for cheap or Temp's Don't Know but I do know People already there would do the work. I don't mind getting Laid-off Been there & done that because of a Good Buisness Decisión, but this Irradic Behavior & Greed by those in charge throughout the whole Company is exactly why Weatherford is where it is, almost broke - In over it's heels with Debt - In trouble with the Government & pretty soon unliked & unrespected among the major professional players in this industry.

I was laid off in March from the R&D group supporting the mfg . They could of move me over into another job in R&D. I had 30yr of row hole experience. They were looking for electronic tech at that also. I agree it is poor run company and were on credit hole with several vendors . My age had a lot to do with my layoff.
Any ads on indeed or any where else for WFT are all bullshit, Just HR doing their thing. Trying to make things look better then they are. WFT can't even pay their bills can/t even get bolts delivered because the over 90 day behind on payment.
