I do not work for Q, actually used to work for a competitor who did throw in the towel recently. I could never wish anyone go through a layoff, not even staff of an ex-competitor. We are humans with lives, victims of the greed of financial markets and the 1%. Q is still making profits, why not redirect the engineering talent to work with future technologies? Seems like lack of vision from top management (as in many ex company). For you longtime Q:ers, this is not the end of the world. Been there done that, I now work for a smaller company, way more happy than before.
