The contract conspiracy theory is just simply not true. Look at the economy and apply some common sense. Production orders are lower then they were 2 years ago. You simply can't continue to employ the same number of people that were needed to produce at the higher #'s.

It ecomonics 101, don't produce what you can't sell.

Historically they have been known to do this during contract year ..thus time the economy works in their favor the numbers just arent there ..definitly expect more layoffs to come.

Yes, it's for sure. Contract time, means the company has to make it look doom and gloom. Look at the Deere layoff in 2009 right before contract. There is a pattern forming.
