I want to hold out and see if I'm lucky enough to get a GTFO package, but at the same time I don't want to risk my next opportunity. What's the best combination of WFH, calling in sick, and taking PTO that you'd recommend for a 1-1.5mo duration? I only have about 2 weeks of PTO in the bank

Start your new opportunity asap.
I was laid off in July when BRCM shutdown our division. Instead of running, I waited. What a poor decision.
