I've been with Chevron for 28 years, gone through 3 major reorganizations, transferred out of state one time and been promoted twice within my job. I never received a bad PMP rating (mostly 2, but sometimes a 2+). I'm not an engineer and consider myself an average employee. My attendance record is very good with only 4 sick days in all my time with the company. So, I'm surprised to hear of so many 2- and 3 rated employees all of a sudden.

I call BS on this one. Only three major reorganizations in 28 years? My average was one every 24 months.
Jealous, are you? These are the employee types that ExxonMobil churns out. It's a tough career but disciplined people swim in this. This is a Chevron employee. Don't knock him. People like this will survive any ROM.
