Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Recommendations at all costs

Management has been making us sick with how much they hound us over asking for recommendations.

Every day we are hassled about the number of times we have hassled our students for a referral that day.

We are essentially told to ask on every call.

Even if you are hitting the team goal you are told that you aren't asking enough.

Here is a news flash for upper management, directors and managers the ship is sinking and me asking for recommendations is not going to save it.

The students have figured out that our tuition is way to high, we are dishonest and the quality of the education is garbage.

@131 - you sure have quite some interest in this fine institution for someone who has no affiliation. Something tells me you're kinda full of sh1t!

@130279--and that's why Hollywood and comedians routinely ridicule the hoax that is a UoP fake degree. It's a fake credential--I'm sorry you weren't smart enough to have been accepted to a real four-year institution. This school initially tried to be a bridge for working adults, and then idiot shareholders got greedy and went on a VA funds/Title IV feeding frenzy. They enrolled ANYONE and pushed people on who were not deserving of graduating high school. Please put on your red socks and your UOP dunce cap and walk around and tell people you're a graduate and watch the laughter ensue. We ALL laugh at UOP graduates, dumbshit.

lies. Degree from UOP is well recognized. You're a moron to think otherwise! You probably have no degree and this is why you justify not having one by discrediting those who do.

You have some valid points however take a degree from UOP and compare to one you mentioned . just see what employers recognize the degree from UOP? Food for thought so sad really

@good ethics leads... Your post deserves the idiot of the week award, perhaps it will yield the DUNCE of UoP for all time award. We'll see. Comparing UOP to CA state school is like comparing an Ivy League institution with a community college. You obviously earned your fake degree from this diploma mill. Only a sub-moron would compare for-profit schools-which admit ANYONE--with selective, rigorous state and private four-year universities. 99% of the blockheads 'working' ( copy and pasting essays and reading Power Point slides) on their degrees wouldn't even get to their upper-division courses because they would flunk out. Please don't procreate as the gene pool is already compromised, and more future UoP graduates is the last thing the country needs.

Do what's best for each student just like it Always been. Don't deter from the mission and recommendations will come. People recommend others when treated right. Tuition is very affordable at UOPx. $10,960 on an annual basis is actually quite good. Try coming to Univ of Cal Santa Barb or USC, UCI or any of the CA and public schools systems, pay for room and board and you'll easily be upwards of $20k a year. I'll take $11k tuition anyday.
