don't sell the houses!!! sell your ferrari first. and as Formerly Product Engineer said, layoff the maid, butler, and lawn maintenance crews next. keep all expenses to minimum before bringing down the houses.

Move into it and sell your primary residence. I'm moving into my 3rd home and will rent the 1st out. 2nd is currently rented. Don't really care much for the 4th & 5th since they're in bad neighborhoods, so they'll stay as rentals. If you really have to cut back after the layoff, I recommend laying off the full-time maid and cook staff in the primary residence. Keep the nanny though. Don't want the kid's lives to be disrupted. I think I have one boy and one girl from what I remember. What were their names again?
