@Ck - did you forget that many of these so called "pell runners" have little to no income and 6 kids? Recommending them to go to a community college is like asking them to get a job. Gov allows too wast of lending and admissions requirements for 2 year degrees are simply being able to fill out an application, have a HS diploma/GED, be a U.S. Citizen, speak English. A reading and writing assessment they take will help assess whether that student should go into more focus driven classes designed to help the student make better academic and financial (responsible borrowing) goals along the way. These students even have 3-weeks risk free to decide before they post attendance into their 4th week of class to back out and have no financial obligation to the school. UOPx provides them more than adequate time and knowledge to make an informed decision. Again, ALL TERRIBLE LENDING PRACTICES!

I really did do my best to help these students get their funding and helping them to pay for their classes.
Helping them to avoid out of pocket expenses when they fail or drop a class.
And what I found out is that the students really don't care about their education, all they care about is their excess funds check.
