Thread regarding HP (Hewlett-Packard) layoffs

Three phases...

HP is now requiring all teleworkers to move into HP faculties and require a response within two weeks or face termination, that is phase one. Phase two will require those workers to move to Atlanta Ga or Houston TX within the next year to year in a half at their own expense. Those who do not will be terminated for refusal of work and will not receive any severance package. Phase three will be of those workers who do relocate to Atlanta or Houston may once again have to relocate at your own cost depending where their team is to be located which will not be known until after phase two is completed. HP"s only concern is cost cutting they don't care about the loss of productivity or the overall mission or its non-management employee. You can bet if you are a "high cost employee your job will be shipped off to India who are lost cost and low skilled and HP could care less about you, your families. If you are thinking of going to work for HP, don't. If you are thinking of investing, think twice and if you currently hold a job you might want to start looking somewhere else. Do to them what they will do to you. It's just a matter of time.

Is this Hewlett Packard ES, the soon to be new "HP Ink," or both? Which regions?

Was offered one of these high paying jobs working remote and require travel to client locations nationwide. I knew it was a gravy train that would eventually end so I passed on it. kinda glad in hindsight for obvious reasons but I have been through one of these type of lay offs with a large company and I hope to never experience it again although there are no guarantees out there. Good luck to those let go I hope you land square and planted with a better opportunity.

When do these phases start? I know plenty of teleworkers, and nothing is happening to them. Is it company wide, or selective?
