I am a woman, graduated from Stanford and an underrepresented minority. I was told that I am not getting laid off. Sorry for the ones that are going away.

With a degree from Stanford you can do anything. Working for a commodity hw vendor is an odd choice. Hopefully you went into IP law, but if u did your continued employment would be never be in question
I feel sorry for you because you aren't being laid off. Sadly, I am in the same category. Might as well just find a new job and quit because I'm not getting paid to GTFO. The people who are getting GTFO packages are the lucky ones. They get to get PAID to get off a sinking ship.
Ha ha, too many clues, I know who you are, just from the attitude. How long did it take to get staff. I would not be so confident. It's about your performance. Be safe, go into DH office and volunteer, see if he say no.
If you really were an undergrad woman from Stanford, you wouldn't be working at Qualcomm. You would be working at any other company that would pay you a hell of a lot more money, that normal non-stanford people (UCSD and SDSU kids) wouldn't have the opportunity for.
They probably lied
Probably. Women who made it through a STEM program at Stanford usually don't brag about being retained because they meet minority criteria.
Do you think this is Tinder?
me neither. i'm a white male with a psych undergrad from Florida State.
