To the staff and faculty of Phoenix University:

As a former Platoon Sergeant for the US Army I witnessed several of my Soldiers working and earning degrees with your institution. It was never easy, but with discipline and determination they were able to be successful. In turn, they received promotions and advanced their careers thanks to you folks and the help/guidance you gave them.

I am aware of what is happening today at U of P in Phoenix. It sickens me. My prayers are with you, and I hope God blesses you each and every one for what you did for my Soldiers.

Thank you for recognizing our blood sweat and tears on your behalf, I hang tight to these moments when the higher ups start talking from both sides of their faces.

Thank you. Your soldiers, every single parent, every person working two jobs to make ends meet, every person who should be retiring but can't due to the economy, that is why we go to work every day. John Sperling had a vision of education available to everyone. I wish that hadn't died in this company when he passed.
