Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Poor Upper Management

I would like to say upper MGT has done a poor poor job. They are so worried about the stockholders they forgot where it all started. From the CEO on down. Lacking professional MGT skills. Lacking skills in general....Here is how you win UOFP upper MGT.......

  1. Get a list of all the popular people who have graduated from UOFP.

  2. Make a TV or Radio commercial highlighting the popular graduates.

  3. GET TOUGH.

  4. Cut your own wages before firing everyone.

  5. Review your Upper MGT policies and structure.

  6. PULL your heads out of your A**

How long does management get to swing the bat at the ball? They have jobs that are better than the weatherman's. It is like winning the lottery. Show up, get paid, and it is OK to strike out.

Upper management has the right to fly the business into the side of a mountain. That is not good business but it is not criminal. If enough shareholders got together and had balls then things would change. Until then, they are in charge and they are making money. What's not so good about that? The only way to control people is through a dollar sign. Everything is everything until someone's money is messed with. Then a sudden clarity comes to people. UOPX upper management can do what they want. They collect criticisms like fat boys collect cookies and like the boys who keep on eating, upper management keeps on earning. La la la la la la la la la la la la.

CK...some dweeb emails you and says they were ethical and waaaa, waaaa, waaaaaa and they are truthful? How do you decide that from an email? Compelling...looking to you too fix something you have no skin in..you cut and paste and cut and paste...you have a few supporters but most know you for the old white man you are. Remember, you were banned from teaching prisoners...so is that where you got your ethics lessons? They all have "the man set me up" story. You troll here, EDMC and any other for profit school where you try to stay relevent.

I like how you say "were well aware of the situation"...man you amuse me...By the way...I'm the lister....gonna ride your coat tails on all the sites...

Executives at Apollo Group and University of Phoenix were well aware of the situation--and chose not only to ignore the ethical workers--but to harass them and force them out. Some wrote to me over the past few years, and that kept me motiovated to continue working on this project. I'm sorry that most of their stories did not get out to the media, because their stories were compelling. I couldn't imagine the harassment that some University of Phoenix teachers and staff took for trying to be honest and ethical. These people (and the students, of course) had to pay the most.

Patiently wait for further news. What a shame for a few to take advantage of an opportunity. Hopefully greed is recognized by appropriate authorities ie, SEC, and confident there will be a day of judgement. Remember Enron. Taking advantage of the American taxpayers to subsidize this effort is coming to an end. Too bad for the hard working, well meaning employees that built this company.
