I'd love to get laid off and walk away with a severance package. I feel bad for the people that need this job that are getting laid off. I wish I could take their place.

Severance is 1 week of pay for every year you are with the company. Insurance is dropped and your unemployment is next to nothing.
Severance=1 weeks pay (x) yrs of employment
Trust me...the severance is not that great!
Why are you working there if you don't NEED the job?
Take as much sick leave as u can, do nothing all day, clock in overtime with little work... u will be on the list to lay off, not firable cos you did not break any rules
Nah, I'd rather receive a severance.
Go to your local HR Dept and let them know.
