All H1Bs, you are all highly qualified, hard working people, leave SD come to SV. Qualcomm sucks, SD sucks. SV have 50+ times more opportunity and 100+ times more career continuity/stability. Screw those Qualcomm white trash/mother f***ers, all come to SV work for Google Apple Facebook Uber Nvidia, much better culture.

Qcom sucks!
Guys based on my due diligence there are tons of opportunities in SoCal...lot of venture funding originated/originating from LA and picked up very significant momentum....Though current qcom culture sucks,their is lot of value to be driven from qcom working experience....
Even the new round of startups does not favor SD, they are at SF and LA-venice-santa-monica-beach. SD sucks.
Young people pls come for opportunity, make 5 million in 20 years and they go back to SD buy 100 ocean scenic mansions for retirement.
Yes you will sacrifice a little living condition, maybe suffer some transportation. But life is much richer, opportunity much more, real world shaping tech startups, tons of money to make, all on going infrastructure and housing buildings.
Better place get better
You know SV has no place to live right? You simply have to live with 3-4 other people in an apartment to knock you rent down to where you can afford with your tiny paycheck.
Texas is a good trade off though....
