Just switched out all 10 windows of my home and I was chatting with the guy that sold and installed the windows with his crew. He was dude in his late twenties. We end up talking and the guy lives in Rancho Santa Fe in a SFH he bought there a few years ago. Lol... enginerds clearly are doing it wrong

i live in RSF, and I paid a guy $2000 to install Windows 10
Another useless "I know a guy..." anecdote.
RSF is the tenth circle of hell.
@119060: You mean your dream house isn't next door to Dinesh D'Souza's?
He deserves it - if he has 'guys' working for him and his own company at that age, he deserves it. Just think about it, in a 20 mile radius, there are dozens if not hundred of folks who'd love to do that window job for you, yet he won the contract - he's doing something right buddy. Being an engineer does not guarantee you anything in life, but being a good entrepreneur in a lucrative business will pretty much guarantee you at least one darn SFR in RSF. Hats off to the young lad.
Probably deals prescription opiates on the side
This tells you nothing. You do not know anything about his background, how big is the company, how big is his house, who bankrolled him, who he married, what he inherited, how many folks are working for him, etc. etc. It's stupid to compare things or analyze things without many more data points.
Trust fund. Nobody in their 20s should want to live in that dinosaur park
