I was not included in the RAE, I did not receive a email. Will we have to post for our current position. Will I be able to choose the option of left standing??? So 50,000 or so of Chevron employees will have to post for up to 4 postions. Thanks

ROM'er I wish you the best of luck… I really wish they would consider giving us older vested people the packages and allow younger people to maintain their employment. Good luck…
Those of us that are designated "must move" have already been notified that we will participate in the ROM sessions. I. can't. wait. Should be loads of fun.
Einstien, if you are 55 with 37 years of service you have 93 points. Hello? You should have pulled the plug 3 years ago. Are you nuts? Retire already.
Anonymous 137680 you are correct.
Also it is usually limited to just your business unit.
Rom puts out new org charts for applicable business units with less jobs under a new leaner format. RAE eliminated who is left to go for them based on performance. RAE left some gaps before rom results are announced. Because of that, some people are currently doing two jobs.
Since you are asking so many questions, I'm assuming you are not in scope and will not have an opportunity to be 'left standing' and retire.
Are they posting only for the vacant positions left from the RAE, or any position that is on the organizational chart. Just trying to get a clearer picture. Actually I am trying to figure out if I will be given the opportunity to retire from this. I have 37 years of service, but only 55 years old.
The RAE was different from the ROM. Not all of CVX has to repost for their jobs only those in scope for the ROM.
From what I understand, only folks who were notified they were "in-scope" for Alpha will have to post to the ROM. No news is good news for this.
