  1. Enjoyed the insight. A far cry from most of the other useless crap on these sites.

0131-They do the same thing with IT. There was never an IT shortage, the myth gets perpetuated by cheap companies who want to bring in illegals for half the pay. They post some ridiculous job requirements at half the going rate and then loudly wonder why they can't fill the job. There is no field in this country that isn't vastly over saturated and that includes plumbers and welders too.

@Anonymous139771, Apollo Group and University of Phoenix have bought Al Sharpton, the NAACP, the Black Chambers, Larry Fitzgerald, Phylicia Rashad, Boys & Girls Club, and the Thurgood Marshall Foundation....................................................https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2014/11/17/u-phoenix-and-hbcu-alliance-draws-skepticism.............................................It's a form of cynical racism that is very old--using black elites and black organizations to con their brothers and sisters. I'm still guessing Todd S. Nelson was instrumental in making UoPX a racist organization long before they established these "business" relationships--but that it has been covered up....................................... http://www.eeoc.gov/eeoc/newsroom/release/11-10-08.cfm

30 years ago there was s nursing shortage.

Solution: pump out more nurses. 20 years ago same thing. 10 years ago still a nursing shortage. Never really been a nursing shortage although people have been told, become a nurse and you will always have a job. Trust me on this one.Veteran nurses will never make that statement because it does't hold up. The true problem has always been one of nurse

allocation. The issue specific to this site is that it is wrong and misleading to feed into this nurse shortage mentality when it is only propagated for monetary or employment gain. Allocation can only be solved if there is a political solution not by the for-profit motive. Too many of these schools have found and exploited this cash cow for too long. Nurses need to be more vocal and not let those that don't get it co-opt the process.

So someone wants to be a nurse. Show them the path and perhaps can be Cna's or Lpn's. Contrary to our training, these are respected jobs and in many parts of the country, there is a shortage. Having the conversation to convert these folks to a BSHA is a disservice to the health care industry and certainly not suitable. We will just stick them with debt after a few classes. If we continue to sell loans rather than attainable careers, shame on us.

@844--I'm sorry your 401K f***ed your wide ass and made it wider and you dumber today. EAs were told to "spin" prospective students(idiots) into a program we had even though it didn't fit a student's needs. You're obviously in upper management and you have no conscience. Stop sucking Jared's pee pee and admit UOP is a scam school. Only a con-artist makes excuses for a criminal enterprise--I'm sure your daddy will give you job at the family used car lot, Slezeball. LMFBBO.

@833 - what makes you think that the average single mom of a few kids would be accepted into nursing school?? You're an idiot. BSHA is a very respectable program. So are the CERT options in medical records, electronic records and health and wellness. You're mom should stop breastfeeding you at this age. It's obviously affecting your thinking capabilities.

I'm pretty sure UOP just filed a lawsuit against this site. Has anyone heard about it yet?

Maybe how to bamboozle a single mom who wants to be an R.N.( but UOP doesn't offer it) and pressure her into $40K bogus BSHA that hospitals laugh at when you present it on your CV? Yes, Bamboozling 101 and bait and switch sleaze is what UOP should present to AA idiot students.

UoP is going to teach personal cash flow, market analysis and financial performance.

Based on their performance in all those areas, I don't get it. Am I missing something? Why don't they stick to something they are good at. C'mon I know you posters can think of something UoP can take pride in and is really good at.

But here is the thing Camden, I don't think the school is actually racist, it is just that they will enroll anyone they can. With no enrollment standards they will literally take anything that breathes, it just so happens that ignorant black people have figured out how to scam the system and get excess funds.

How does that make the school racist?

Your accusations make no sense.
