What stings more than anything is Chevron made us believe it was forever money. The old timers said it is not forever money, but do they know, right....... my supervisor said this will last 15 years. What stings even more as technologies advance folks without advanced degrees(PE's type jobs) will be gone. Hindsight, I should have saved and saved and saved. Instead I feel like a pro athlete feeling like what the hell happened. I bought a decent house in a new city, became a father and now the rug is pulled out.

Grow up and quit being a whiney ass girl. This is the way life is. Quit feeling sorry for yourself. Come up with a game plan to save your sorry ass from bankruptcy. You have a family to support.

That sucks. Best of luck adjusting to the new reality. It's easy to second-guess past decisions, but now all you can do is learn from it and adjust.
