Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

As oil prices tumble downward, what is going to happen to field personnel?

Oil prices are tumbling downward again, if this keeps up Chevron will be able to purchase oil cheaper than it is for them to get it out of the ground. What will happen to the field personnel when that happens?

What will happen to CVX field employees is basically the same as that for office employees. When cheaper to buy reserves then explore and produce, heads roll.

F*ck AMBU. That BU is a loser for Chevron and most every employee who works there. If you can survive there long enough through 1Q 2016, get the hell out asap.

Everything will be cut. It's going to get very ugly. If you haven't already you might want to dust of the resume and think of selling the $45k pickup that isn't paid off before there is a glut in the used truck market and you get nothing for it.
