@ 141692: Uhm, there were no "banks" as we know them in Jesus' day. Only wealthy people who would probably be more like today's pawnbrokers or venture capitalists. The people tosses out of the Temple were "profiteers" who made money off of the faithful by selling sacrificial animals at inflated prices.
