i saw them remove a sensative data post from an OP just three days ago. could that be at the request of the company? If so, could the company be trying to track down the poster?

This is a third party website. People come here to blow off steam, Shit, Steve Mollenkopf probably comes on here to laugh at some of it-- there's some funny stuff.
I am with the guy who says with enough time and resources, they could track down a poster (they would have to have the cooperation of the web admin, the cooperation of the service provider once they have your public IP, and some lawyering to do at a bare min). But it's of negligible benefit at great cost, like firing up a particle gun to smash a mosquito sitting on the wall.
In short, not really.
To the dipshit who allegedly works in IT Security but apparently knows nothing about it, yes, you could be tracked. To answer the OP, there are better things to do than try to look at who posts on this site at any particular point in time. Unless you pass some sort of confidential data, you're under the radar.
Track this muthafuqa
@Anonymous141957
You have no clue how the internet works.
Anybody active on the net, can be tracked down, anytime, anywhere. It's just a matter of time and how much resources you are willing to devote to that chase. People on this forum letting off some Q fumes are not worth the time an effort, I think. I don't particularly care to see all the racists posts here, but it's a free speech society after all.
Well phew... Glad I post from my cell phone's hotspot, and use a proxy server on top of that!
I can't believe that some of you guys work at 8 tech company and you don't know what an anonymous website is. Use your freaking phone. If you use your desktop no big deal. They cannot track your actual IP address to an actual post in the way of that,. This is not Ashley Madison. After Qualcomm not the lay off. Com. Believe me I am in IT security. And I have an attorney.
That's why I rarely send any personal email frin work. I also think my wife has only sent me about 5 emails at work since I've been here.
If you use Q network, Q can track you down; it's called Q retaliation. HR is allegedly said to be compared to Gestapo of the regime.
I think the webmail server being referred to is Q's webmail site or smartphone app, where they will have your IP and can match it to the ones posting here.
There is no Web mail server used to access this site dumb shit. And they couldn't track any ip addresses to a particular posts regardless. There are as many managers on this site as engineers. Everyone's wondering what'sgoing on. Did you leave your helmet at home today @Anonymous141952.
im sure this site will give away the ip address very easily. once q has the ip address, all they have to do is to match the ip addr to the ip addr log for the webmail server!
Don't post at work. QCOM probably doesn't care what you say; but if some whiny, ass-kissing brown-noser reports you to a PM for goofing off on company time, that probably will count against you. Of course there's always the possibility that people who are tired of tattling ass-kissers will report them to HR for lowering morale among the rank-and-file. : D
Nope. This is an autonomous third party website. There are many companies who wish they knew. Q is not the only company on this site. Come found me assholes. Building QRC.
