Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Where is the flattening

so far only front line employees and low level managers. I thought we would see the consolidation of geographies etc. no sr. Management touched....

I'm paying attention & I see everything. That's why I still have a desk to sit at. The Truth is - blood will continue to pour, O&G landscape will continue to be in peril. At least 17 months of this, barring geopolitical dynamics change things (doubtfully changing things for the better). When the ashes settle, we'll look back & understand what our friends from the 80's felt (perhaps the 20's).

if you haven't seen it, you aren't paying attention.

Senior Management should be left alone. It's the mid-lower levels where that fat is. Big corporations Like Halliburton always become bloated in the middle, just like a male torso. There may be restructuring over time. But thsee are power moves (made by senior management), that will position the company for $45 oil. Everyone expected a v-shaped recovery then people hoped for U shaped turn around. It is common knowledge now that this is clearly an L. Brace for bad...

Good point. More senior management, who no one knows what they do, are gonna be safe.
