Whoever put DMC was going to have a lay off yesterday was wrong. If you don't have your facts down don't post about it. People already working at DMC are already aware of the situation as it is. Yea there may be a lay off coming but I don't think it happened as soon as someone said it would happen for DMC. All I can say is know your facts before you open your mouth about it.

Glad you guys involved the PGLs. Very little PGL involvement in Carrollton. But yes, in a couple of weeks, MFG parking lots on Mondays will look like a Friday.
Okay PGL meeting Monday to produce numbers to turn in to legal. Then they come back and say wait to many women or africans. This dance drags out for two weeks then bye bye just like that.

It depends on payment. If you get laid off in Sept but get paid in Oct and they charge you for your benefits then you'll have them for oct.
At any point during the month that you get laid off you are insured until the end of that month. Examples: If you get laid off on Oct 1st you have insurance until Oct 31st. If you get laid off Oct 20 you would have insurance until Oct 31. If you get laid off Oct 31 then insurance ends Oct 31.
I have insurance until the 1st got laid off the 20th unless I buy cobra
Medical insurance would last until Oct 31st if you were laid off on the 1st. So look that up!
They need to do away with those departments. Just have one safety guy and put more responsibilities on the managers and pgls to help out. And your benefits don't last the whole month just 2 weeks. Let's just say I'd be shocked if the layoff wasn't on the first.

Makes no sense to layoff on Oct 1 and drag cost into another quarter since September 30th is the end of the 2nd quarter. Also, Oct 1 is not feasible if they are trying to cut cost because the company would have to pay another month of employee benefits.
