I've heard rumors of a possible buyout at some point... has anyone else heard this? And what is the likelihood of another restructure in the near future? This is so ridiculous. I had such faith in this company at one point, but now it's all gone to sh!t.

Whole Foods has not been profitable in YEARS. Come on, everyone knows it.

This is all a huge crock of shit! Whole foods is an incredible company that would burn itself down before selling to the trash that is Walmart. Every company goes through growing pains and Whole Foods is just restructuring some of its positions to remain profitable and successful. These ridiculous rumors are just that ridiculous. Get a better hobby!
Publix is more likely. They want to get a foothold in the northeast.
I don't know what's going to happen, but I do know that Mackey owns less than 1 percent of his own company and the entire management staff owns less than five percent, so if Publix set out to purchase whole foods, it would be possible..
