Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

One of our signmakers just accepted the severance package.

I am really really sad to see him go. I've seen a lot in this company but this is unbelievable. They have really screwed us all this time.

  1. Lay off signmakers (reduce labor)
  2. Have every team print SLAW signs including higher-paid TLs (add labor)
  3. Add 20 more hours to SSS role for signs (add labor)
  4. Add 10 more hours to SSS to deal with new audits (add labor)
  5. Invest in screens with third party to display marketing messages (add cost)

This is a SoPac store. I don't know all the details yet re: signmakers in SoPac. We had 2 signmakers here, now we just have one as one of them opted to take the severance and get out of this crumbling company.
