You are not losing your severance package if you decide to apply for metro position!!!! If you apply and you don't get it, you have an option to take home severance package plus what's left in your 8 weeks of pay (8 weeks starting today).
I'm told that marketers will be able to interview for marketing positions as one option. However, another option is taking a severance package so if you plan on interviewing for a metro marketing position you do not get a severance package even if you do not get the job. By choosing to go for a metro position you forfeit your severance package. The last option is to go for another position within the store in which case you also forfeit your severance package. Included in the severance package is an agreement not to apply for a Whole Foods Market position for 6 months
Any position you will have to interview like a panel interview. So in that saying, You will have to apply and go against other MTL for the position
