Something has been brewing for a long time I can say for sure in the north east region. 8 months ago they cut us to one TMS(HR) per store which is ridiculous because at the SAME time whole foods launched us using work day and each store here has atleast 300 people. Then right after that they announced data unification which was basically grocery taking over he buying of most products in the store, grocery health products became part of whole body and it was a shit show because at the SAME time they went down to one tech guy per store! Starting in December 2014 regional leads of departments started dropping like flies. These are people who have worked for the company for 8 plus years and make a lot of money. And then this week they announced that demo specialist and healthy eating specialist will only have two months left and will Recieve severance packages. Whole foods is flooding their own market. How many stores do you need in NYC???? And now you are opening new stores that aren't whole foods but are pretty much the same? Fix what you already have. I thought they were smarter than this. All I gotta say is that if that many regional people have been quitting, at least 15, something huge is happening

Whole Foods has indeed become very greedy by continuing to open more stores without taking care of their employees in the ones already existing. For a store with a true mission to help their employees succeed in turn, improving profit........you have failed. Shame on you John Mackey!!! What happened? the green stuff in your wallet got the best of you. Now Whole Foods is just another grocery store. Mr. Mackey......that's where greed has gotten you. You have lost my business. Healthy eating specialists made a difference in the life of so many individuals. These people would have never come into your overpriced store without the hard work and education of the Healthy Eating Specialist, who were paid a sorry salary for all of the business they brought into your stores. That is what I call lack of gratitude.

Doesn't help when the majority of TLs and ATLs live in the office and don't have a clue how to run their teams effectively. Mediocrity has become the norm and the few that do shine are ignored for those that kiss the most anus.
they are opening all these brand new shiny stores. most of the money isn't even spent on the grocery part of it, which makes the most money. they lined up their team members, and shot them down one at a time. And now store leaders are hiding in their office
The demo specialist in the NE organizes all the demos, heads up holiday table and heads up face book a Twitter. So it's a big deal here. Healthy eating specialist not so much. But I'm sure the customers will be disappointed
Our store hasn't had a demo specialist or ISE in years. nbd.
