Seriously what is your problem? Anyone effected in this "restructuring" is being given multiple options one of them being a generous severance package. They could just do what most big companies do and hand you your pink slip on the way out the door. Most states are "at will". This is a grocery store. Grow up! Shit happens. You deal with it and move on.
They have added undercover security, anyone dumb enough to try it is going to find themselves is serious danger.
