Our STL is telling people our cuts are over, but it's tough to believe with as many CS supervisors as we have
yes.
What's the severance they offer for sups
And what are the severances they are offering. It can't be too much as supervisors don't make much to begin with.
There are 3 options, they will be given to you...you'll have to pick one. If you do not get a position and are "let go" you will still get severance. Or you can take the severance from the get-go and walk out same day.
" but maybe 6-8 supervisors on the front end, you'll see that number drop to 2-3. But everyone will have to interview for these "new" positions. In the meantime people can choose what they want to do. "
If you are not one of the Supes that get your job back, does that mean that you have to take the severance? Or do you have the option to become say a cashier?
A front end sup. Just got cut at my location.
Yes, from what I know, based on your stores sales will determine how many positions may be required. For example, if your store has small sales but maybe 6-8 supervisors on the front end, you'll see that number drop to 2-3. But everyone will have to interview for these "new" positions. In the meantime people can choose what they want to do.
Fellow FL CS supervisor. I anticipate the positions going to part time with lower pay. Don't hold out. Look for other work
In the SW, Front End will downsize the amount of supervisors. You will at least be forced to reapply for your job.
