What are our demands?

If a union were to be created, what do we want?

Unionization? Seriously? Even if a union could negotiate higher wages, they would take it all themselves in the form of various fee's. No thanks, I don't want any false victories. I'm not sure what you're on about in regards to reforming the disciplinary policies, in five years with this crew I am astonished with how easy it is to not get fired.

You can keep your pity party, I plan on gaining my position back. A little basic understanding of how business works on the macro level and you'd have known this was bound to happen. It sucks but if you always do what you've always done then you'll always get what you always got. Think about it.

God speed and peace

Lets get this ball rolling. It has to start from somewhere. How can we get the word out and which union would be best to represent us?

Scheduling consistency and living wages for the TMs are my big issues. Maybe average the STL's salary with the average TM salary and pay that wage to all TMs, with appropriate raises for supervisors and team leaders..

Organizing is going to look different depending on the store, the region, allies in the community, history of the store, etc. But one demand across the board I'd propose is very basic: an end to no-cause termination. Simply put, the boss can't terminate your employment (your livelihood) without cause. Beyond that, I'd say higher wages, better benefits (like they were years ago), consistent/proper scheduling, disciplinary system reform.
