I'm a former TM. Just wondering if regional and/or Global offices were hit. I'm so, so sorry for those of you that lost your positions. When WFM was a good place to work, it was great. But when it was bad, it bordered on abusive.
Leaving was the best thing I ever did for myself job-wise. I hope that you all find something better somewhere else, and never step back in a WFM again once you do. It's pretty liberating.
Totally agree with this person. I left 15 years ago and it was the best decision of my life. That being said: I learned more than I ever would had I not worked for WFM at that time. It was fantastic and I learned basic business skills that I was able to take and grow a career out of. So for everyone still there: take what you know and go out there and get out of that bubble! You probably have more knowledge and skills than you think you do and you'll be better for it (at least I was). Good luck to all TM's out there. Former Foodies are routing for you!!!
