bridgeport meat crew!
Lol...
Getting severence.
I'll miss the anonymous sex in darkened break rooms. The delicate feather touch I apply to the scale when I price items. The pot garden we have cleverly disguised as a wetlands for local fauna. Also, the dirty, anonymous sex in the break rooms.
I used to work overnights at my stores grocery and we did the same as well. My favorite was the expensive hot smoked gouda from specialty and then munching on 15 dollar jerky. I still work there, no one cares. We make so much money.
Hilarious that someone listed "stealing product off the shelves" as their happiest time at wfm. And you're surprised that the company needs to do a layoff to stay in business? Glad I still have a job and that idiot got fired
Laughing at the guy who bought two quarts of brown rice from the hot bar for $17.00!
I worked night shift and we'd ride around the store sitting on pallet jacks, it was a lot of fun. We'd eat stuff off the shelves too. Even though we played a lot, we crushed it. We would stock 11 pallets or more of grocery in a night with 3 or 4 guys. Yeah I know it sounds terrible and we would be fired on the spot, but we killed it. But you known what? F*** whole foods. They don't care about team members.
This isn't really the time or place to reminisce about good times. This is time to be realistic about your relationship with WFM.
Yeah the not having to worry if I have a job tomorrow was nice.
That time I didn't wonder if I would still have a job tomorrow.
Holiday parties! Wfm team members know how to party !
Hugs. It used to be that when team members would see each other, they would greet each other warmly and often hug. This was a daily occurrence.
After breaking down all the pallets we would take the plastic wrap and play dodge ball and have a blast. I miss those days.
