Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

These layoffs are gonna go on for years to come. With oil so low plus the merger. They will be reshuffling and laying people off for years to

Come. What's to suggest any different? You can't control it and can't do anything about it. The only thing you can do is your job and hope that your needed. Or at least hope your younger because let's face it either by force or voluntary a lot of these old timers are gonna be "retiring" in the next 2-5 years. If not we'll it any the end of the world.

Doing your job has nothing to do with it, not only at Halliburton but at most corporations. The reason is that the mis management has a 'don't know - don't care ' policy and they firmly believe in it. They DO NOTCARE what you know or do. You are nothing other than a problem to them to get that next promotion.
