Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

MA corruption board

Same style as the SP board below. Share your stories of corruption, incompetence or unethical behavior.

I'll start off.

Julia Obici: incompetent. Allows the waste of company money with expensive store openings that aren't even good. FOODIE FIND committees? Give me a break

Sam Park: buys season tickets for Nats, Caps, Wizards on company dime. Sure he is giving out to some TMs, but it's all so he can get his good seats.

Share your stories or info. Let's expose those within whole foods

For the nepotistic idiots they can be

Whole foods became who you know company not what you are capable of doing. I worked in several stores since I didn't kiss nobody's a-- they put a road block for me. I got tired of the 3rd world country treatment.(I felt I was back in slavery days)

No break, work of the clock to save the budget, work 24/7 if you are in management,no family time.if you didn't pick up a phone call I will hear crap about not responding.someone said it earlier (the African gang ) if you are not with them you are out. There are several TLs and ASTLs female had to sell their bodies to get to the positions they are in not because the deserve it.

Free range chickens are taken care better than their team members. Sad very sad. Stl know that lots of team members work off the clock and without break. And if a team gets hurt, they try their best not to send them to the clinic because it will mess up their precious bonus. So much for team member happiness.

I don't know who that last STL was, but many hugs and blessings for being so sweet and genuine in your last message.

A lot of people forget, ASTLs and STLs work at WFM too and don't always agree with their disingenuous actions as a company.

So many things wrong about where WFM is now. Sam Park was ultimately the cherry on the cake, of my leaving. As a STL, I couldn't hear one more useless word from this lazy, misogynist, drunken creep, and his gang of Sam's club thugs. Creativity, TM happinesses, and delighting customers is no longer at fore front of the company's values. It was making me mentally and physically ill to be a powerless figurehead any longer in my store. I loved my job and journey for many years; the last year and a half sealed the deal for me. Miss my TMs and many friends, and am sad for the lost potential of a once great company to work for.

Oh you better believe there are many STLs in the MA who may be gold talkers but seem to promote and favor those with similar racial and religious background (silver spring and friendship heights come to mind quickly)

How about the racist store team leaders who only hire and promote employees who share very similar ethnic and religious backgrounds

One traveling TL was nicknamed "the door handle" ... because everyone that wanted to got a turn. Her willingness to be a receptacle of bodily fluids kept her solvent for many years.

I've worked at several stores in the MA, and the tickets go to the STLs, but they then distribute those tickets to team members. Just saying...

Sam Park. There's a real winner for you. How many of those tickets went to his family members? Or his STL buddies from the past.
