We just started a new fiscal year this week so I don't know if this one is true. Jan/feb is when we normally get the yearly gainshare payout in a paycheck.
Gainsharing has never been fair anyway. Customer service gets a pittance compared to the product teams.
I wouldn't be surprised if they got rid of the Gainsharing. They're probably going to also increase free health insurance from 20,000 service hours to 30,000 like they did a few years ago and Say the tms voted for it.
or what they will do is keep is around in name alone til the next benefits vote(while keeping each team barely making labor) and then make us vote to get rid of it..they like to wash their hands of the crime..so they can say "well the team members voted for it..." etc...they will probably offer some shit like "well we will increase the t.m. discount to 27% for all team members instead of gainsharing"..so that the money still flows into their hands..lol....
Anonymous169938 - The "Gainsharing year" starts at a different time than the fiscal year, so it would actually make sense if they were going to get rid of gainsharing to do it when the gainsharing year ends. I just can't remember when that happens. Some time in January or February if I remember correctly. But I also don't know how that whole product realignment thing will impact that "gainsharing year" since we already received one full labor pool payout after that transition.
Folks from the meat and seafood department are gonna suffer the most.Their gainshares was super .
My team regularly gets about $100/period/ for full time tms in gainsharing. That's after OT that TL, ATL, and specialists put in.
I would be surprised if that was true, but only because 12/31 isn't the end of an FP. But if they dick me out of my holiday gainshare, I'm going to flip the f*** out.
they wanted to get rid of that for years..if you study your budget over a period of years, you will notice it gets cut every year while sales increase and prices increase..who gets that cut?? the upper crust and wall street investors..
Just another WFM scam! GS has sucked with impossible labor goals.
