one of the reasons people have been laid off in the past was to make the FOP target. That's all very well - until you need to hire people again a few months later. However, the main driver was to make FOP for bonuses. This is at a country level and positively encouraged by regions - presumably egged on by Houston. One of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. This cycle explains some of the lurching from one extreme to the other which is a poison in the company and many people have commented on in this site. Not illegal - just very, very immoral - and extremely damaging to the business & its reputation. You're definitely a number in there. As they say in the industry "everyone's ex-Weatherford".
