We have transitioned from employee-friendly global PDC meetings, where one had the option to try from a smorgasbord of wonderful jobs in desirable locations, to a tighter set of PDC offerings in less glamourous places, to the current musical-chairs style ROM process where those not offered a job are summarily fired. Nobody knows what will happen in the spring of 2016, but PDCs seem off the table unless prices rebound dramatically. Another global ROM is possible, but if prices remain low no jobs will be offered so it will just be a global sacking, the natural next step in this evolution. What do you think?

All correct. FYI some D&C groups already entered their spring must moves into this year's ROM out of concern that there will be no spring PDC nor many positions resulting In a likely "global sacking"as stated.
Yeah... For must moves (out of Chevron).
I expect a spring 2016 PDC for must moves only.
I trink you touched on it correctly, a global sacking will take place in the spring of 2016. Oil prices will continue to be below 55 by then.
