How does the actual act of communicating that you've been laid off happen? Do they call you in a conference room? Who is there? What do they tell you? How long does it take. I am extremely nervous, if there is another round then I am expecting to be laid off, not sure why, I just have that horrible gut feeling that things are not working out.

I was called to a meeting that was rescheduled? It was my day off. I knew only certain specialists had to attend. Then I heard on the RADIO IN MY CAR on the way to this meeting that WFM was laying off employees. When I arrived to punch in, there was an email posted to the time clock from Robb saying the same thing. I was appalled that they did not have the decency to tell me to my face first. They tried but failed miserably. We did get to voice our frustration and ask questions as my STL was as pissed off as we were. Moral of the story, pay attention, watch your back.
at my store they had conference calls with the groups of people, buyers, supervisors, healthy eating specialists, marketing team leaders, demo, store artists, and ASTLs all had a separate conference call "meeting" and nobody had any idea
I got a call while on vacation.
You are not alone. Many of us feel like that.
Hello, I am the original poster, thank you for the replies
If you haven't been told by now then you aren't getting fired.
We were called in for individual talks with our stl and tsml. Some positions were eliminated effective immediately, hence why the 24 hr decision on your option was implemented. They kept the conversation private and door closed, but if people saw you go in, you know what was happening. Mine was very bittersweet. However, the hallway of offices was a ghosttown, no one wanted to be back there. It was really only after that people on the floor saw you leave that they got word. I wish the best for everyone, staying or not, it is a rough time and transition for everyone.
My Team Leader told me that Store Leadership wanted to see me in the STL office. At that point I knew I was gone. For me, it was 2 ASTLS - our point and a female (because I am female). They explained all of my options to me and told me to go home for the day (paid), think about my decision, and return my paperwork with my decision within 24 hours. The whole conversation took about 20 minutes, but I have heard some have taken longer.
