Good ol'boy netwrok

It is time the good ol'boy network goes away starting at LCGP. Shelby hides in the dark, Savant is a lier, and Driver is a bully. Conoco has spent a ton of money at LCGP for different company's to come in and make it better. All have failed because management at LCGP is a failure. Then Conoco doubles the management crew with 2 of everything. Here is how to save money. Cut the management crew in half and stop paying to fly them back and forth to there homes, make them live in Wyoming and make them care about the people they work with and where they work. LCGP used to be the place to work in Wyoming now it is a joke and no one wants to work there.

Shelby Shanks (Hanks) is the worse possible example of a manager a corporation could provide any facility. He lies to his people and treats them as though he is above them mentally. He has absolutely no respect from anyone at LCGP unlike Dave Young who is a true professional and respected by all. Mark Savant is also an embarrassment of a HSE manager, his silver tongue might have gotten him to were he is today but his lack of true knowledge is going to get someone hurt or killed at LCGP. Nobody trusts him or respects him. Jeff Driver has done the best job possible with the tools and employees given to him. He is a honest man and very devoted to his family. He is a very good manager that respects his employees and is honest with them.

Worked for Driver, Very respectable person. Do your job and appreciate it, and he will get you what you deserve. Very few people like him, he has guts to do what is right. I can't say enough good about him!

That goes for L48 Land as well! As a Landman at another company, I did not have techs and consultants doing all of the work for me while my supervisor, manager and upper managers waste my time with meetings, lunches and expectations of ass kissing to be part of their clique! And to make matters worse, most of the Land "leadership" (very liberal use of the term) is as incompetent as they are unethical! A bunch of backstabbing, whining narcissists with daddy complexes!

LCGP is not the only good ok' boy network! COPC is full of them, and most are lead by idiots. The Major Capital Projects TMT and members are shining examples of incompetence when it comes to cost control, quality assurance, schedule management and execution...yet their swollen ranks (most should have remained contractors) are safe and move around infecting the rest of the company with their CPMS quotes and acronyms (even though they have yet to deliver a project per schedule and metrics)! Whoever buys COP just needs to let the remaining organization go! I, personally, would have no problem applying for a job with a company that expects and appreciated "actual" work and delivery!
