West let ~100 contractors go May to Sept, after a restructure in ops. Non-ops lay offs started in September, with repatriations ~30 until the end of the year. East is still building train 2, so they r throwing money around trying to stay on schedule to avoid pissing off Ryan (so he can talk about how great he is at building shit, to try and stop the share price sliding further). The axe is being sharpened east, once you go into operation you can expect to see the axe being swung and people being sent home to non-existent jobs.

Would say it is a good place! At least one manager transferring out to MBU and one manager transferring in!
Once the project is done where do you think they will go? They get sent home how many more cuts happen to make room for them? Careful what you wish for.
