Vuforia -- GTFO

Been a long time coming. What else is in store for all the non-core businesses? Is QLife dead already?

I'm shocked someone actually paid money for it. IMO, it looked like one of those "also ran" concepts from the get-go. If they made money, more power to them. In the meantime, it better be reflected in the next earnings statement and dividend.

Qlife is the future of the company, along with chips in cars (in the future people won't use smart phones in cars, but opt in for built in features instead). Put on your sunglasses because the future is bright!

It does not fit SM's new corporate strategy. They could care less what they invested cause they have plenty of cash on hand. It's about dumping what they don't want and keeping the cash cows. Playing it safe... won't last long. Plus taking on Intel in the server market seems a bit foolish since it will rake tons of cash to R&D. Foolish? We shall see.

what a shame. They spent well over the supposed $63M they spent on developing it over the last 7 years. Getting rid of the HMD business just as it is about to take off is lame.
