I had an ATL who voiced concerns at a Town Hall. I was informed later by my STL that my ATL was to never be promoted any higher position. This came from the RP. My ATL applied several times for TL positions and eventually left WF and became a rep. She never knew what hit her.

that global town hall was a way for regional leaderships and store level leadership to dodge the serious questions at each specific location..or to avoid putting stls on blast..complete b.s. ..
It's never been a good idea to disagree at a town hall meeting.
It's getting ugly.
When SO had to conduct whole-store inventories EVERY MONTH from January through September of 2013 due to a colossal regional f*&%-up, two of us submitted this same question about why things were always being done differently in SO and no one in regional was being held accountable for this massive waste of resources. This question was IGNORED at a Town Hall conducted by Global Poo-Bahs Lanolin and his side-kick.... One of us messaged in and said "Please answer the question posed earlier about why is SO constantly re-inventing the wheel as a square block and why we are the only region conducting 9 full-store inventories from January to September?" The question of course was ignored, but we were promised by the moderator in the conference chat that the dynamic duo would look into it. Of course, nothing ever happened. During the Town Hall they only answered softball questions or brown-nosing compliments. Town Halls are a complete charade. They should replace them with re-runs of Gilligan's Island.
ive seen people get the shaft from speaking out at town halls..better to place the questions in the box..especially if the same question pops up more than once about your store leadership..i cant wait for the team leader surveys to come out for my store...the leadership got roasted.
