Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Why does management still have weekly one-on-one meetings with ERs?

If UOP were really concerned about changing its operational model, managers would STOP pressurizing ERs for their weekly PSL. Traditional schools--even private liberal-arts schools--NEVER micro-manage their enrollment personnel. All ERs should send documents to the DoE and the HLC that talk about management's effort to pressurize ERs for numbers. The abuse needs to stop NOW.

It's weird to find that the advertisements sponsored on this site are for UOP and other schools.

most managers are great and those who keep believing that this is a diploma mill school are idiots. They think they have it all figured out and they don't. Quite frankly, if you don't have anything to do with UOP you should just STFU and mind your own business.

Anger is bad. Anger not good for ERs or EMs. Love works. The end is near. Treat each other kindly.

857 - So like most here you completely ignore your personal role in the debt and destruction your ponzi scheme school has wrought upon the taxpayers and students.

You are a f***ing idiot. I have been an EM for a while and I have never pressured any rep. and anyone that has ever worked for me will tell you that. One on one's with my employees are the best part of my job. We review their student individually and look for areas that they can improve upon based on program knowledge and conversation components. What job doesnt do that? Are there bad managers? Yes. But dont categorize every EM as the same. Just as I never do with reps. In my experience, the only reps that feel pressured are the bad ones. That feeling isnt pressure it accountability or the resistance of acception that you are not good at your job and it is somehow your Em's fault.

It should have been obvious all along. Boiler room scams always use boiler room techniques to grab as many chumps as they can before the feds stop them. It is the same in every industry there has ever been when what they are doing is both illegal and unethical and they know it.
