is chevron offering early retirement packages or just eleminating or laying off upsteam positions...I have 28 years there..im glad im just a peeon instead of a bigbuck whitecollar worker..my sympathy with those losing their jobs,,,i went through this in the late 80 s,lost my machinist job in making drilling ecquipment and building drilling rigs.i never want to go through that again...do they still have the cheese and honey give aways..this glut will very slowly pass..could be worse we could be living in Syria..

I feel you bro you are right about that of Lybia. But Chevrons decisions on keeping the garbage and getting away with us that actually work and are worth keeping is ridiculous. I just hope those "lucky" ones trash up the company until it goes bankrupt just what happened with Enron. At the END these buildings have the Enron blessings
